Nazyvayevsky District (Russian: Называ́евский райо́н; Kazakh: Называй ауданы, Nazyvaı aýdany) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 5,900 square kilometers (2,300 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Nazyvayevsk (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 12,372 (2010 Census);[3] 17,654 (2002 Census);[6] 21,626 (1989 Soviet census).[7]
