Neftekumsky District (Russian: Нефтеку́мский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-six in Stavropol Krai, Russia.[2] Municipally, it is incorporated as Neftekumsky Municipal District.[5] It is located in the east of the krai. The area of the district is 3,797 square kilometers (1,466 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Neftekumsk.[2] Population: 68,778 (2010 Census);[3] 70,902 (2002 Census);[8] 59,775 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Neftekumsk accounts for 40.3% of the district's total population.[3]
