Nepenthes jamban (/nɪˈpɛnθz ˈʌmbən/ ni-PEN-theez JUM-bən, not */ˈæmbən/ JAM-bən) is a tropical pitcher plant endemic to northern Sumatra. The specific epithet jamban is the Indonesian word for "toilet" and refers to the shape of the pitchers.[1]
