New Cumberland is a city in and the county seat of Hancock County, West Virginia, United States, along the Ohio River.[5] The population was 1,020 as of the 2020 census.[2] It is part of the Weirton–Steubenville metropolitan area and is located near the Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort.
