Newland[2] is an inner-city suburb[3] and historic district[4] of Lincoln in the county of Lincolnshire, England. It is located to the west of the city centre and faces Brayford Pool.[5] The street and area around it has existed since around 1100 and is one of the oldest areas of the city centre, once being home to the Lincoln Port on the River Witham.[6][7]
