Nicholas Joseph Begich III[1] (born 1976 or 1977) is an American businessman and politician who is member-elect for Alaska's at-large congressional district following the 2024 U.S. House election in which he defeated Democratic incumbent Mary Peltola. He unsuccessfully ran for the seat in the 2022 special and regular election, both of which Peltola won. Although the Begich family has a longstanding affiliation with the Democratic Party, he is a member of the Republican Party.
