Nicolet (French pronunciation: [nikɔlɛ(t)]) is the county seat of Nicolet-Yamaska Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada. The population as of the Canada 2016 Census was 8,169. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nicolet.

The residents of the town pronounce the final "t" in Nicolet, but people outside of the region do not.
