Nihon Bijutsuin (日本美術院, lit. "Japan Visual Arts Academy") is a non-governmental artistic organization in Japan dedicated to Nihonga (Japanese style painting). The academy promotes the art of Nihonga through a biennial exhibition, the Inten Exhibition .
