Nikolay Nikolayevich Muravyov-Karsky (Russian: Николай Николаевич Муравьёв-Карский; 13 August 1794 – 4 November 1866[a]) was an Imperial Russian military officer and General of the Russian Army. A member of the mighty Muravyov family. He became famous for the capture of Kars in the Crimean War, for which he was unofficially nicknamed Karsky ("of Kars").
