Nipomo (/nəˈpm/; Chumash: Nipumuʔ)[4] is an unincorporated town in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States. The population was 16,714 for the 2010 census[5] and grew to 18,176 for the 2020 census.[6] For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Nipomo as a census-designated place (CDP).
