Nordisa is a grand opera in three acts with a libretto by the composer, Frederick Corder. A romance, the work was commissioned by Carl Rosa for his own touring Carl Rosa Opera Company[1] and was first performed at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool on 26 January 1887.[2] Today the work is largely forgotten.[1]
