Northampton is a town in Fulton County, New York, United States. The population was 2,670 at the 2010 census.[2] The name comes from an original land patent.[3] Northampton is in the northeastern corner of the county and is northeast of Gloversville. The town is known for the village of Northville, a major Adirondack community; and the Great Sacandaga Lake, which composes around 40% of the town.
