Novoselitsky District (Russian: Новосе́лицкий райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-six in Stavropol Krai, Russia.[2] Municipally, it is incorporated as Novoselitsky Municipal District.[4] It is located in the center of the krai. The area of the district is 1,724 square kilometers (666 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Novoselitskoye.[2] Population: 26,697 (2010 Census);[3] 26,613 (2002 Census);[7] 23,021 (1989 Census).[8] The population of Novoselitskoye accounts for 32.7% of the district's total population.[3]
