Nurly Miniakhmetovich Miniakhmetov (15 June 1914 – 9 September 1989) was a Red Army soldier during World War II and a Hero of the Soviet Union. Miniakhmetov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin for his actions during the Battle of the Dnieper, in which he ferried troops across the river while under fire.
