Nyazepetrovsky District (Russian: Нязепетро́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,459 square kilometers (1,336 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Nyazepetrovsk.[1] Population: 18,261 (2010 Census);[3] 21,527 (2002 Census);[5] 27,767 (1989 Soviet census).[6] The population of Nyazepetrovsk accounts for 68.2% of the district's total population.[3]
