Oblivsky District (Russian: Обли́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,013.5 square kilometers (777.4 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Oblivskaya.[1] Population: 18,872 (2010 Census);[3] 19,167 (2002 Census);[6] 27,610 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Oblivskaya accounts for 52.5% of the district's total population.[3]
