Old Gate (Speyer)

View from west

The Old Gate (German: Altpörtel) is the medieval west city gate of Speyer,[1] and is one of the original 68 towers in the old walls and gates. Today it is one of the largest (55 metres or 180 feet tall) and most architecturally significant of the remaining city gates in Germany.
