Olivier Ferrand (8 November 1969 - 30 June 2012) was a French civil servant and public intellectual. He was the founder of Terra Nova, a prominent centre-left think tank in Paris. In June 2012 he was elected to the French Parliament. He died of a heart attack shortly afterwards, aged 42.[1]
