Orchard Village, formerly known as the Mardyke Estate, is a housing development in the South Hornchurch area of London, England.
From 2009 to 2017[1] the site underwent regeneration as part of the London Riverside part of the Thames Gateway. The estate was transferred from Havering London Borough Council to Old Ford Housing Association in March 2008[2] and redevelopment work started in November 2009.[3] Most of the existing housing, including a number of high rise blocks and flats, were demolished.
