Osaka Prefecture University (大阪府立大学, Ōsaka furitsu daigaku) (OPU), also abbreviated to Fudai (府大), used to be one of the largest public universities in Japan.

The university merged with Osaka City University to form Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) in April 2022. The main campus is among big Kofun tombs in Sakai, Osaka.
