Ovoo gurvel /ˈv/ is an extinct varanid lizard from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia. It is one of the smallest and earliest monitor lizards. It was described in 2008. Ovoo possesses a pair of small bones in its skull that are not seen in any other lizard.
