Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language crime comedy film starring Abhay Deol, Paresh Rawal, Neetu Chandra, Manu Rishi, Manjot Singh and Archana Puran Singh. It was directed by Dibakar Banerjee. The film won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film. The film is inspired by the real life shenanigans of Devinder Singh alias Bunty, a real-life "super-chor", originally from Vikaspuri, Delhi.^[1]

Film starts with showing us lucky of age 31 behind whom media is mad for a single glimpse because of his stealing tactics of different things in different Indian cities then media takes the audience to the teenage of lucky where we are shown disturbed family of lucky when his father(Paresh Rawal) marries second woman and brings her home and we are shown that lucky starts stealing bike from the place where his friend works to impress girls and fulfil his desires later his friend Bengali(Bengali got this name because his father was arrested in Kolkata) joins him in these things then we are shown story after few years where he steals goods for gogi (another character played by paresh rawal)who is even a marriage contractor in Delhi who treats lucky and bengali like a dog during the same time lucky falls in love with sonal who is sister of dolly a dancer who used to work with gogi later due to ill treatments of gogi lucky leaves his work and goes to mumbai to steal a car and while returning from their e meets DR.Handa(3rd character of the film played by paresh rawal)and introduces himself as Sunny Arora and they exchange card with each other on the other side Devander singh an officer from crime branch orders Gogi to give him information about lucky in Delhi lucky decides to steal at the house of Babul Awasthi who is a news reporter and said in the news that lucky is a normal thief and their lucky meets Bengali again and their bengali tells him that he is ready to serve lucky like anything and then Lucky meets dr handa with handa's family and later lucky tries to steal at babul awasthi's house but fails later he takes advice from Dr handa that how to enter in a house where there's an dog by telling him that he wants to enter his girlfriend's house and later succeds in stealing at house of babul awasthi and babul awasthi in anger kills his dog in anger. Later Lucky goes out of town with his lover Sonal and bengali so that police doesnt catch him and their he finds his elder brother and his wife who was a bit uncomfortable with him and later it is revealed that lucky's father and mother have got separated and his father leaves with his second wife.On that point lucky decides to leave robbery and to marry sonal
