PFKFB3 is a gene that encodes the 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 3enzyme in humans.[5][6][7] It is one of 4 tissue-specific PFKFB isoenzymes identified currently (PFKFB1-4).[8]
