Parugu (transl. The Run), titled In the Name of Love in the UK,[2] is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film[1] written and directed by Bhaskar. The film stars Allu Arjun, Sheela Kaur and Prakash Raj. The film is produced by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations whilst Mani Sharma composed the music. Vijay K. Chakravarthy and Marthand K. Venkatesh performed the cinematography and editing of the film respectively.

This plot follows Neelakanta (Raj) and his love for his two daughters, Subbalakshmi (Poonam Bajwa) and Meenakshi (Kaur). Subbalakshmi elopes with Errababu with the help of Krishna (Arjun). Neelakanta gets hold of Krishna to know about his daughter's whereabouts, but Krishna and Meenakshi fall for each other. The rest of the story deals with how Krishna convinces Neelakanta for their marriage.

The film was officially launched on 15 March 2007 at Hyderabad, and the principal photography began in June 2007. The film was shot in Hyderabad, Kerala, Kodaikanal and Rajahmundry while a song was shot in Jordan. The principal photography came to an end in April 2008, though the makers planned it to complete by January 2008. The film is released worldwide on 1 May 2008.[3][4]
