Paul Ham (born 1960) is an Australian author and historian who writes about conflict, religion and the history of ideas. He has published 14 books, mostly with Penguin Random House. His latest is The Soul: A History of the Human Mind, an epic narrative on the evolution of human consciousness and the beliefs that drive human history. He lives in Sydney and Paris.
