Pavlovce nad Uhom (Romani: Pavlovcis, Hungarian: Pálóc) is a village and municipality in the district of Michalovce in the Košice Region of Eastern Slovakia. Pavlovce sits on the south bank of the Uzh River (Slovak: Uh) and is located about 8 km (5.0 mi) west from the border with Ukraine. The main village has existed since at least the Late Middle Ages, mentioned as early as 1327 AD. As of 2021, Pavlovce was reported to have a population of 4,646 people.[5]
