Peter Mensch (born March 28, 1953) is an American music manager.[2]

He started his career in music management at the age of 26, managing AC/DC. In 1982, Mensch formed the management company Q Prime with Cliff Burnstein. Their first client was Def Leppard. Q Prime manages the careers of many multiplatinum acts, including Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse,[3] Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Veruca Salt, Snow Patrol, Lost Prophets and Jimmy Page.[4][5] The Financial Times has called Q Prime "one of the most admired artist management companies".[6]
