Phi 1.618 (Bulgarian: ф 1.618) is a 2022 Bulgarian-Canadian dystopian science fiction adventure film directed by Theodore Ushev (in his directorial debut)[1] and written by Vladislav Todorov.[2] Starring Nikolay Stanoev, Deyan Donkov & Martina Apostolova.[3] It is based on the novel The Spinning Top by Vladislav Todorov.[4] The film was named on the shortlist for Bulgarian's entry for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards, but it was not selected.[5] It was considered again when Mother was disqualified,[6] however, it was not selected.[7]
