Piazzolo (Bergamasque: Piassöl) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Milan and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 92 and an area of 4.2 square kilometres (1.6 sq mi).[3]
Piazzolo borders the following municipalities: Mezzoldo, Moio de' Calvi, Olmo al Brembo, Piazza Brembana, Piazzatorre, Valnegra.
In the cemetery is buried Guido Galli an Italian judge killed by the Red Brigades in the 1980s.
