Pirojpur (Bengali: পিরোজপুর) is a town in Pirojpur district in the division of Barisal in southern Bangladesh.^[1] It is the administrative headquarters and the largest town of Pirojpur district. The town covers an area of 29.50 square kilometres (11.39 sq mi) with a population of 78,057 as of the 2011 census. It also houses Pirojpur Cricket Stadium which is also used as a helipad for landing important people of Bangladesh.
