The Pkhista (Georgian: ფხისთა) is a river in the West Caucasus, near the border between Georgia (Abkhazia) and Russia. It has a length of 13 kilometres (8.1 mi)[1][2] and flows into the left (eastern) bank of the Psou to the south of the village of Salkhino.[3] It is one of two main left hand side tributaries of the Psou River, the other being the Besh River. Both tributaries are in Georgia.[2]
