In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Plutus (/ˈpluːtəs/; ‹See Tfd›Greek: Πλοῦτος, translit. Ploûtos, lit. "wealth") is the god and the personification of wealth, and the son of the goddess of agriculture Demeter and the mortal Iasion.
