Pointe-aux-Chênes ("Oak Point") is an unincorporated community located in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, United States. The community shares a zip code with Montegut (70377) and has many residents of Houma descent and others of Chitimacha descent. ^[1] In 1993, they established the independent Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe, which is one of three state-recognized Houma tribes.
