Polyxo (Rhodes)

In Greek mythology, Polyxo (/pəˈlɪks/; Ancient Greek: Πολυξώ, romanizedPoluxṓ), also known as Philozoe (Ancient Greek: Φιλοζώη, romanizedPhilozṓē, lit.'animal-loving'), is the wife of the Trojan War hero Tlepolemus, and later the queen of Rhodes. Following her husband's death during the war, Polyxo took revenge against Helen, whom she blamed for all the sorrows she had suffered.
