Pontypridd (/ˌpɒntɪˈprð/ PON-tih-PREEDH, Welsh: [ˌpɔntəˈpriːð]), colloquially referred to as Ponty,[2][3] is a town and a community in Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales,[4] approximately 10 miles north west of Cardiff city centre.
