Pool 1.5 is a pool simulation video game written for the Apple II and published by Innovative Design Software in 1981. A port for Atari 8-bit computers was released the same year.[2] Pool 1.5 allows 1 to 4 people to play one of 4 variations: straight pool, eight-ball, nine-ball, and rotation. A trimmed down version was released on cartridge for the Atari 8-bit computers in 1982 as Pool 400. The "400" refers to the Atari 400 computer, which shipped with less memory than the more expensive Atari 800.
