2024 Lebanon pager explosions
The toll from yesterday's walkie-talkies explosions in Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah militants, increases to 25 people killed and 708 wounded, with a total of 37 people killed and over 3,000 injured since the past two days. (Al Jazeera)

Fijian coup leader George Speight is released from prison after obtaining a presidential pardon from president Ratu Wiliame Katonivere. Speight was imprisoned in 2002 for his role in the 2000 coup d'état that overthrew the first prime minister of Indian descent, Mahendra Chaudhry. (Radio NZ)
