A bomb is detonated on the road between Sofia and Samokov, Bulgaria. The target is believed to be the Chief Public Prosecutor of Bulgaria Ivan Geshev, whose motorcade was travelling on the road at the time. No injuries are reported. The oil tanker MT Pablo catches fire off the coast of Malaysia with three of five crew members missing afterward.
