Posada (Latin: Pheronia, Sardinian: Pasada),[3] also previously known as Feronia or Pausata, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia. The city sits on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,394 and an area of 33.52 square kilometres (12.94 sq mi).[4]
Posada borders the following municipalities: Budoni, Siniscola and Torpè. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").[5]
