Pseudoxytenanthera ritcheyi is a species of plant belonging to the genus Pseudoxytenanthera of the grass family, Poaceae.^[1] It is an Asian bamboo commonly called the "erankol". The species grows in wild in the plains and foothills of South Indian regions.
