Purabi Bormudoi (8 May 1950 – 15 July 2019) was an Indian writer in the Assamese language, known for her social and periodical novels and short stories.[1] She was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in the Assamese language in 2007 for her novel Shantanukulanandan, a saga of the mighty Brahmaputra River[2]
