Quicktown, Pennsylvania

Quicktown is a rural unincorporated community in Lackawanna County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.[1] It is located approximately 17 miles (27 km) east of Scranton, more specifically in the eastern portion of Madison Township (known to the locals as Madisonville). Madison Twp (Madisonville) was formed on August 7, 1849, from parts of Covington and Jefferson townships and is named after President James Madison.
