Rachael Bade is an American journalist. She is Politico's Senior Washington Correspondent and author of the morning newsletter, Playbook.[1][2] She currently serves as ABC News Contributing Political Correspondent as well,[3] appearing on "This Week,"[4] "Good Morning America"[5] and the network's streaming platform[6]

A member of the congressional press corps for over a decade, Bade is also the author of UNCHECKED -- The Untold Story Behind Congress's Botched Impeachments of Donald Trump, a book that blames Democrats as much as Republicans for the failed impeachments of Trump.[7] Published by William Marrow and co-written with her one-time colleague Karoun Demirjian, her book won plaudits from the Washington Post,[8] the Wall Street Journal,[9] The Guardian,[10] among others.[11]
