Rajender Singh Sangwan

Rajender Singh Sangwan (born 24 August 1958) is an Indian biochemist, professor and agriculture biotechnologist. He is the Director and Vice-Chancellor of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), India.[1] He was the founder CEO of Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), Mohali.[2] He was also the former executive director of National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali.[3] Known for his contributions to the field of food and agricultural biotechnology, he is an elected fellow of Indian National Science Academy (INSA),[4] National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI)[5] and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS).[6]
