Rancho San Lucas was a 8,875-acre (35.92 km2) Mexican land grant in the Salinas Valley, in present-day Monterey County, California given in 1842 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to Rafael Estrada.[2] The grant extended along the west bank of the Salinas River south of present-day San Lucas.[3][4] It remains an operating ranch.
