Robert Randolph Neugebauer[1] (born December 24, 1949) is an American politician who was the U.S. representative for Texas's 19th congressional district, having served from a special election in 2003 to 2017. He is a member of the Republican Party. The district includes a large swath of West Texas, including Lubbock and Abilene. According to a 2011 survey by the National Journal, Neugebauer was "the most conservative" member of the House.[2]
On September 17, 2015, Neugebauer announced he would not seek reelection to an eighth term in 2016.[3]
