Reginaldo Francisco del Valle (December 15, 1854 – September 20, 1938) was a Californio statesman, lawyer and politician who served as a member of the California State Assembly from 1880 to 1883, and the California State Senate from 1883 to 1887. He was the youngest ever President pro tempore of the California Senate and was instrumental in the foundation of the institution today known as the University of California, Los Angeles.[1]
