Richard Gordon Thomson (born 16 June 1976) is a Scottish politician. He is a member of the Scottish National Party (SNP) and was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Gordon from 2019 until the seats abolition in 2024.[2][3][4] He was also previously the leader of the SNP group on Aberdeenshire Council.[5] He was the SNP Spokesperson for Business and Trade from 2022,[6] and SNP Spokesperson for Wales and Northern Ireland since 2021.[7][8]
