Richmondville is a town in Schoharie County, New York, United States. The population was 2,466 at the 2020 census.[2] The town name was adapted from the name of a post office in its territory.

The Town of Richmondville has within itself a village called Richmondville. The town is at the western border of the county and is northeast of Oneonta.
