Rita Jeptoo (born 15 February 1981) is a Kenyan marathon runner. Along with winning the Boston Marathon on two occasions, she has also won marathons in Chicago, Stockholm, and Milan. Jeptoo. Jeptoo was the bronze medalist at the 2006 IAAF World Road Running Championships representing Kenya.

In 2014, Jeptoo received a two year competition doping ban which was later increased to four years after testing positive for EPO in an out-of-competition test 25 September 2014.[1][2][3][4][5]
